Israel once again proved that it does not comply with international law.

Nobody expected such a disaster. Although Israel had stated that it would respond harshly if the ships entered, such a harsh response was not expected, and Israel violated NATO and Geneva rules.

• Illegal operation in international waters

• Shooting at unarmed people

• Seizing legal goods (theft like sea pirates)

• Attacking journalists and causing millions of dollars in damage to UP-Link equipment

• Killing innocent people

I am an analyst, and my duty is to research and examine. I must put my emotions aside and write the facts. That is why, after writing my humanitarian thoughts, I examine the matters in the background. In 2008, after President Ahmadinejad’s visit to Turkey, when all roads in Istanbul were closed and people took to the streets, White House advisers realized that Ahmadinejad was considered a savior and a hero among the peoples of the Middle East. This was a very natural situation. Because just as the Iranian people were tired of the consequences of their hostility with the West, Israel and America, the religious section of Turkey had a similar understanding. However, this situation posed a great obstacle for the interests of America and its allies. Therefore, another symbol had to be placed instead of Ahmadinejad. But who? The required figure was found quickly! Bashar al-Assad, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Hosni Mubarak were not good candidates, but Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who had an Islamist background, was the best option. Both a NATO member country and a much better alternative than the enemies. In addition, the fact that Turkey is Sunni made it quickly acceptable for Arab countries. They moved quickly and began to build Erdoğan’s entry into the Islamic propaganda field under three main headings:

Political Section
a. The first step was Erdoğan’s departure from the global economic order and his famous “One minute!” reaction to Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres regarding the rights of the Palestinian people. The people of Turkey had been waiting for such a reaction from state officials for years. After this incident, Erdoğan gained great popularity among the Middle Eastern Arabs and his voters.
b. Defending Iran’s right to nuclear energy, both at conferences appealing to Muslims and in areas of no special significance for Turkey.
c. Middle East travels and visa-free travel agreements between Syria and Turkey.
d. Latin America travels, aimed at entering the Iranian region, but ended in failure.
e. While Turkey once showed a weak stance in its foreign policy, with the magic wand of the USA it became a mediator between Israel and Palestine. It also began to mediate in Iran’s nuclear issue.

Cultural Section
a. Exporting Turkey’s TV series to Arab countries (such as Gümüş, Aşk-ı Memnu, Valley of the Wolves) created a major cultural revolution. While a few years ago Turkey had been described as Israel’s servant, now it had become a country admired among Arab peoples.
b. Production of anti-Israel TV series on TRT channel.
c. Establishment of TRT ARABICA channel.

Humanitarian and Publicity Section
But this time, a much stronger step had to be taken to completely eliminate the suspicions of Islamic countries.
a. The first step was Turkey sending medicine, food, and other humanitarian aid to Palestine via Egypt’s borders. In addition, many Europeans defending human rights were made to participate in these aids and it was announced to the whole world. At the same time, the chaos at the Egypt and Palestine border weakened the leadership role of Arab countries, which had been in Egypt’s hands for years.
b. The second step had to be much stronger and more controversial: the Mavi Marmara Operation. This operation was organized by one of the most religious Turkish charities, IHH, whose members had a history of organizing Hamas, Hezbollah, and anti-Israel conferences. Since it was certain that Israel would not allow the ship, major Turkish news agencies CHA and DHA and UP-Link devices launched this operation. The aim of the IHH was to announce to the whole world that Israel did not accept the rules of international law and was illegally blockading Palestinian waters. Also, since there were Europeans and journalists on board the ship, it was not expected that Israel would react so harshly; it was thought that only the entry would be prevented.

However, all this led to the fact that in Palestine, instead of the photos of Khamenei and Ahmadinejad, Erdoğan’s photos began to be sold, and the Arab people in the region began to eagerly await Erdoğan’s speeches instead of Ahmadinejad’s. Iran’s power in Palestine was temporarily greatly weakened.

As a result, a beautiful pass was given to Erdoğan from the White House, and a goal was scored against Iran. Because Ahmadinejad, not listening to the warnings of his best foreign policy advisers and due to his insistence, was not even aware that he had conceded this goal.
