A Beacon in the Dark
Sometimes the world seems like an endless nightmare; people destroy each other without hesitation for their own gain, and then sleep peacefully at night. Witnessing so much oppression and injustice shakes every human heart. The question is: How can we live in such a world without letting our hearts die?
First: Look with fear, but with vigilant eyes.
For fear of this terrifying world is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of humanity. The one who fears nothing has a dead heart. A vigilant conscience is always restless in the face of injustice. This restlessness is what sets us apart.
Second: Arm ourselves with the pen.
When we see crime and injustice, silence only strengthens the power of darkness. But writing, speaking, and exposing can transform human sorrow and pain into a constructive force. These few but sincere voices have always changed history.
Third: Never forget God’s justice.
Criminals may sleep comfortably at night, but their sleep will not last long. Sooner or later, retribution will come. No injustice goes unanswered, even if we never witness the moment of justice. Belief in this justice brings profound peace to the heart.
Fourth: Let us be a small light.
The world may be full of darkness, but even a single candle can illuminate a room. The important thing is not to let it go out. It is enough for our hearts to remain lit, even if we are alone. Survival in this world of horror means preserving our conscience, even when others have sold theirs.
