The world is two days

The world is two days

When life overwhelms us, something within us gradually fades. We are together, yet we see each other less. Perhaps that is why fear has replaced security, and silence has become safer than noise.

Of course, the world is full of people, but it is not synonymous with peace. The fear does not come from being alone, but from being together.

The world is full of fear. Fear of judgment, slander, betrayal, rumor. People have become so tired and cautious that sometimes one seeks a sense of security not among the living, but among the dead.

Because the dead do not cause suffering, do not envy, do not slander, do not betray, do not judge. And most importantly, they do not spread rumors.

This is neither a funeral lament nor a slogan, but a cry of human fatigue in the face of human injustice. And this is collective fatigue, not individual.

Many are tired, but they have learned to continue silently.

No shouting, no protest; just ordinary exhaustion. Because when the silence of the grave becomes more peaceful than the noise of life, it means something in our relationship has been deeply wounded.

I wish we could start everything anew. To learn not to ignore the suffering of others, not to be indifferent to the problems of our loved ones, not to disregard them, not to unjustly blame each other, and to respect everyone’s privacy.

Because life is shorter than we think.
