Many people associate betrayal with the violation of emotional or sexual trust (infidelity), but in reality, it has much broader dimensions and can manifest itself in various ways. In this article, I aim to show that betrayal is not limited to emotional or sexual relationships, but also affects various aspects of social, familial, professional, and even personal life. Betrayal in interpersonal relationships is one of the most serious forms of betrayal. This occurs when someone abuses another person’s trust within a relationship. Betrayal can appear in various forms such as lying, engaging in illicit relationships, ignoring the feelings and needs of others, or betraying friendships and close relationships.
